June 7, 2026 Sunday Worship: Wisdom Sets the Table

Proverbs 9:1–6 invites us to picture Wisdom as a gracious host who builds a house, prepares a meal, sets the table, and calls us to come and live. The central image is “Wisdom sets the table for life.” Biblical wisdom is more than good advice or practical information; it is God’s invitation into a way of life shaped by reverence, humility, love, and faithfulness. As we come to Communion, we move from Wisdom’s table to Christ’s table, where we are fed by grace, formed in God’s way, and sent to live faithfully together.
