"What's Growing In Us?"

Aaron Atchley

This week, we enter into Isaiah’s image of the vineyard—a picture of something carefully planted, tended, and expected to produce good fruit. As we sit with that image, we begin to recognize that our lives work in much the same way: something is always growing, even when we’re not paying attention. Together, we’ll explore how what we root ourselves in—our habits, influences, and patterns—shapes what is formed in us over time. We’ll also reflect on how what grows in us doesn’t stay with us, but shows up in the way we live and relate to others. Rather than creating pressure to fix everything, we’re invited to slow down and pay attention to what’s taking root beneath the surface. And in that space, we trust that God is already at work, gently reshaping what’s growing in us. Along the way, we continue to ask: what kind of fruit is our life bearing?
