Sunday Worship: Palm Sunday: On The Road With the King

Mar 29, 2026    Aaron Atchley

As we step into this Holy Week journey, we place ourselves on the road into Jerusalem and experience that moment from different places—up close with the disciples, out in the crowd, from the cautious edges, and finally through the eyes of Jesus. Along the way, we begin to see that what felt like confusion or unmet expectations was actually God’s faithfulness unfolding in real time. This journey reminds us that God has been keeping His promises all along, even when it didn’t look the way people expected. As we walk through these perspectives together, we’re invited to recognize how easily we, too, bring our own expectations into following Jesus. And as we step out of that moment and into our own, the journey asks us a simple but honest question: are we willing not just to praise Jesus, but to follow Him wherever the road leads? In doing so, we discover that God’s faithfulness is not just something we remember—it’s something we learn to trust as we keep walking.
