Sunday Worship: October 11, 2026 | "The Shape of a Rooted Life”
Acts 2 shows us a community being formed by the Holy Spirit, not an ideal church we have to recreate. We see the Spirit meeting people through the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, Communion and shared meals, prayer, worship, generosity, and praise. These are means of grace—not a checklist or a way to earn God’s favor, but ways God forms us to receive and share Christ’s love. Faith is personal, but not private: we need one another, and the life we share becomes a visible witness to the grace we have received as the Lord draws others in. We are invited to take one step more deeply into this shared life—through worship, caring for others, getting to know one another, or receiving care—in ways that fit the season we are in. This is the shape of a rooted life: a people receiving grace together and trusting the Spirit to keep forming us.
