Sunday Worship: Lent 2: Remember the God Who Saves
Mar 1, 2026 • Aaron Atchley
This Sunday we continue our Lenten journey with Israel as they stand on the edge of the Promised Land. After the long road of wilderness testing, we hear Moses warn that the next stretch will test not endurance, but memory. Together we will reflect on how forgetting often happens not in open rebellion, but in quiet drift — and how the rhythms we practice shape who we become. As we trace the story forward, we will see how Jesus fulfills this command perfectly, loving the Father with an undivided heart where we so often waver. Rescue comes first — in Christ — and our remembering becomes our grateful response to His faithfulness. Our journey then leads us to the Table, where we pause, remember, and are formed again as God’s people.
