Trinity Sunday, May 31, 2026 | “Rooted in the Mystery”

May 31, 2026    Aaron Atchley

This week we will sit with the mystery of God through Job 38:1–11 and 42:1–6. The book of Job reminds us that suffering often resists easy answers, and that shallow explanations can wound more deeply than silence. We will be invited to bring our honest questions before God, especially in seasons when life feels heavier than we know how to carry. When God finally answers Job, God does not give him a neat explanation, but widens his vision to the mystery, wisdom, and majesty of creation. On Trinity Sunday, we remember that this holy mystery is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Together, we will trust the God who is with us and can be trusted, even when God does not explain.
