Sunday Worship: August 2, 2026 | "Clothed in Grace: When God Removes our Sin and Restores Our Callin

Aug 2, 2026    Aaron Atchley

Zechariah’s vision reminds us that God has not forgotten us, even when we carry the wounds and failures of what we have been through. Like Jeshua, we may be painfully aware of what is stained or broken in us, but the voice of the Accuser does not get the final word. God’s grace meets us, removes what we cannot remove for ourselves, and restores us to lives that belong to him. We see grace going before us, forgiving us, and continuing to make us holy. Jeshua points us toward Jesus Christ, our great high priest, who does for us what we could never do for ourselves. At the Communion table, we come not because we have made ourselves clean, but because Christ welcomes us, pardons us, and sustains us in grace.
